Been a while since I last updated the news on my health so thought I had better do it now. Unfortunately I was not here for the last 48 hrs having had a major scare and being rushed into hospital after having some sort of seizure. This is possibly linked to the buergers disease from which I suffer from. The good news is I am back home and we are thinking of going down to the caravan this weekend with some of the family in order to have a wee break and get me away from the house for a wee while. A few weeks ago I had another CT scan and there is an anomaly on the right side of my brain which will now be investigated more thoroughly over the coming weeks. Once again I feel humbled by all the very kind messages received from friends around the globe and a huge thanks once again from she who must be obeyed for once again looking after me and making sure I was safe. A huge thanks to the kids for rallying round mum and helping out over the last two days, we both appreciate all the help and support that you give and are happy that things are much better now. See you all later today! Once again a huge thanks to one and all for your continued support.

Weekend at bruces over, feeling better for it and Jan and Ali said to say Hi and they hope to see you whenyou can manage!
Site still roughly the same but a lot less seasonal vans on at the moment, makes it a bit quieter, well apart from when we find our van full of kids and grandwains!

As a result of the seizure I had last week I have to surrender my driving licence should only be for six months according to the doc but not too worried as I have not really been driving much for the last few years. Letter from hospital today confirming I am on the waiting list for an appointment for Neurology Dept, could be anywhere in the next 12 weeks and will get at least 1 weeks notice. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later!

Thanks Mick, I did have the CT scan a few weeks ago and they have told me there are anomaly's in it, which is no doubt why I had the seizure. Feeling better this week maybe the old body just wanted to have a reset, LOL

Hi Folks, won't be able to access the PC for a week or so as we are off to the caravan ;D, and possibly further south as well . If I get near a PC will have a look and see how you are all doing. All the best Graham

Thanks Mick, hopefully this latest bad spell will soon pass, as usual the cold weather and worries about finances are not helping, if only I wasn't such a worrier! On a bright note, I have received a Scottish Thomson Caravanners Club pin badge, not one I have seen before so really made my day. I am also waiting to receive two lots of club committee correspondence from two different sources, looks like my scanner is going to be in a great deal of use this year! Attachments:
