Rare 2 door Thomson on Ebay

Seen this but not seen one before. Has 2 doors and he says its 3 birth, maybe a 4 berth from the photos.

Maybe we need a 'Thomsons on Ebay or other publications' board. I find them all in my search for the elusive Glenelg as I check newly listed caravans everyday

A rare find indeed Mick, only ever seen one before in the back of a caravan and trailer sales centre in dumfries, still there as far as I know and possibly be for sale if not already gone. have a look at the pictures I and another Thomson owner took here

Had a look at the timeline and the Glenmore was produced between 1969 and 1978, quite a popular van with those who toured in the uk and Europe as it had the two doors making it easier to site on both sides of the sea.

Originally a four berth and no doubt it would be able to add the bunk again if the purchaser required the extra bunk. Alway thought the beauty of these was the option to have two awnings, one as a bedroom/playroom for the kids and the other as a living space for the adults turning the outfit into a three room one! Don't know how much extra sites would charge these days for that option though!

Yep, know what you mean, I get e-mails from Ebay daily for several Caravan related ads, had them with Thomson or Thompson in the title but having seen your ones on here have added 2,3,4,5,6 berth ones too. Must be really sad!

Even Sadder, I have saved PDF files of all the end of sale pages for them too, helps when folks ask me about what price they should either expect to pay or sell for in future.

Then again, without Ebay I wouldn't have extra value info for the website!!! (and thats my excuse LOL!)
