Any one follow this race and if so what did you think of todays Grand Prix, pretty exciting stuff I thought and good to see so many different overtaking manoeuvres, wasn't sure about Ker's and DRS at first but if that and the Pirelli tyres produce more races like the first ones then we should be in for a treat!
Won't say too much about the results at the moment in case some of you have not yet seen the race, well worth watching!!!

Hello! Hello!! Hello!!! - looks like it has to be sign language then! PMSL!
Glad you had a great weekend, watched all the televised stuff on red button and despite the exhaust thing problem I thought it mostly very interesting. How on earth did the pit crew mess up on JB's stop, leaving a wheel nut off, once again ruining any chance of him finishing the race. Again I was quite impressed with Paul Di Resta's performance, he has a bit to learn about the F1 side of things but I feel he may be up in the top soon as he seems to be improving as the races go on. Excellent job for someone who is not used to Silverstone, maybe he will be the next Scottish F1 champion, we live in hope.
Wouldn't mind going along with you to the factory if that is possible, free link on the website for the team if they grant it LOL!
Did you speak with or meet Murray at all, great to see him on the telly again, such a great ambassador for F1 over the years and the best ever commentator.
Sad to here that Stirling has finally retired but I suppose at some point it had to be. From a different era of course but in my mind those where the days when it was driver and machine against each other with some very hair raising races, these days the drivers have it easy when you think about open cockpits, sleeveless shirts and shorts with just a leather helmet for protection.
Was the new Pit lane and wing building as impressive as it looked on the telly, amazing looking building and so spacious. Love the idea of the wing design in order to show off Silverstone link with WW2 bomber airbase.
Glad you Hadar great time Als and hopefully next trip to yours will have us peering through some pictures of your special weekend.
Next time get me a pass too! (-:

well the season is well and truly over now and no surprises on the outcome except for J.B beating lewis, fernando and mark to No2 spot. just been talking to my friend who works for one of the teams as pit tech and he has invited me down to see the new car in the new year. hew hopes that next season will see them climb the ranks and maybe even challenge ferrari. I did mention your name graham and your website, he said he can only ask but invites are limited so keep your fingers crossed. regards to all and seasons greetings

Overall an enjoyablehe way F1 season Als, a few surprises along the way and some great moments watching the BBC F1 team going through some special days out, great to see Eddie Jordans shirt go for £100,00+ for Children in need. Jb beating Lewis was great, who knows what will happen in 2012! Hoping Rubeno will get a drive next season as well, got a real soft spot for him as I always think he is one of the gentlemen of the sport who sadly was held back in his Ferrari years. I still think he has it in him and with the right car could show some of the younger ones a trick or two.
Very dissapointed that next season only half the races will be on the beeb, they do such a brilliant job and with the extra shows on red button it gave a better inside view of what goes on before and after the races.
Hope you get the invite and look forward to hearing more about the new cars!
Have a great Christmas and New Year, Joan and I will as always be with you in spirit, all the best to the Runcorn Raiders!!!

you are so right graham, the bbc did have great coverage alas the powers that be wanted the air space for some little event called the Olympics and tennis. however if you have the sky HUD package you will be able to view the F1 HD channel at no extra cost. this concession was negotiated by ecclestone. we the runcorn raiders would like to wish all our Scottish family a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. will ring you soon honest lol.

Hi Als, had a look at Sky HD package and too be honest can't see us affording it at the moment, have to do a review in a few months and see if we can manage it. Thinking of taking the van off site next year as it needs a big repair to damp on the left hand front corner, dreaded damp finally got in somewhere! with the off site saving it may be possible to get Sky then.
all the best G

No letting any secrets out now Als! wish I was able to go too. maybe next time! Sad to see ruebens hasn't got a drive this season, with the right car he could still make a big difference, after all his crash rEcord is so minimal, worth teams noticing with the cost of cars these days! Hope he gets a drive somewhere, maybe Nascar!

Nice one Als, if they want I will add a link too!
Ruebens certainly is a worthy ambassador and I am sure he will be around in F1 in some guise for a long time yet.

Glad you had a great day out but a bit worried about your BP with all the excitement! wish I had been there too but know doubt next time we meet up I will hear all about it! Glad to see the Beeb is broadcasting the first race of the season so I will get to see it! Afraid at the moment the last thing I need is to take out a SKY contract to be able to watch the rest but on the other hand Hazel and Kev have the full sports package so we may have to swap houses for those weekends lol!
Hope all the Runcorn Raiders are doing well.
