well the caravan is yet again repaired and next week we are off to rhosnigr anglesey for a 5 day shake down yippeeeee after that jenny takes ownership of the van  but we still get to use it ;D |

Great stuff Als, glad to hear the van is staying in the family, would be a shame if we couldn't get back to having our wee get together on sites.
Hope you can get up this way soon!!!
If you have pics I can add them to your section on the website, if you do the normal right up etc in word and e-mail it I will be able to try and match it in.

hi guys
home again and we had a great few days away. the weather was mostly hot and sunny but we did have one very blowy night with torrential driving rain, and it continued into the last day of our stay, Michelle's tent very nearly took off for Ireland but we rescued it just in time. the good news is the van seems to be dry and tight.

Nice one Als, you should have used Delta pegs!
Got our central heating in and the PC back up andrunning, just got to decorate now when we get a wee bit cash together.
Glad you all had a great time and that the caravan is ship shape, well done!

we did use delta pegs but the ground is 95% sand and the ground anchors were only 8" but they held thats why it only NEARLY blew down , big thanks to our mate Rob who developed the delta peg. the caravan has stayed on the site for now as the farmer who is a good friend has let me park it up their for the rest of the season for a pittance and now Jenny has gone down for a weekend and I am sure I will be their soon.
my health has gotten worse these last few days as the angina is hitting me hard but hey i just keep taking the tablets lol.

sorry to hear you are not so good Als, been the same way myself.
At Bruces Cave just now, using Joan's cousins pc. Weather fair and enjoying the long awaited break.
