Excellent stuff Paul. If you don't mind I will copy this and the images and text from your site and make up a how to PDF file to add to the website. No doubt there will be others out there who will appreciate the info for other older B&B chassis caravans who may not use the forum yet!

Well i did what you advised Paul. the castelated nuts on both sides were quite loose so i removed split pin, tightened nut up and put new split pin in. wheel spun easily with no noises and more importantly no play!! Brakes all looked fine and well greased. Thanks Paul.

Nice one Snowy, it always amazes me just how well the axles, brakes, etc all seem to last forever. The ones on the 79 Glennevis I used to have where ten years old when I passed the van on and still as good as the day I put them in. You can't beat the quality of these vans!!!
