Sadly I am looking at selling the Glenalmond. I maybe moving to a smaller place and have no where to store the 2 old caravans. The Thomson needs work, you can see what has been done so far and what needs doing on the following link thomson-caravans.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gallery&action=display&thread=14&page=1 It comes with a lot of wood to repair the other side of the caravan, one side is done, all the walls need replacing but are all removed so its easy. I have a replacement 'A' frame for it as the current one has been 'modified' to make it longer. I dont want it to go scrap, I wont break it but would prefer it to go to a good home to get it finished. Collection from near Market Rasen, will tow with a trailer board. Selling for £100 to save it £150 on ebay PM for phone number or more details

Hope you can find someone who will take on the rest of the work, seems a shame you have to part with it after doing so much work.

Hi Pete, got yourself a bargain there! I would have loved to finish it and use it with my 1966 Landrover but time, money, storage and now moving house all went against me

Has been collected this morning of to its new home... But without your intervention it would probably have ended up as so many others. You should be proud to have saved this rare van!

Thanks Graham, that makes me feel a bit happier about it. I know it would still be sat where it was if I hadnt pulled it out a year ago. I am still looking for a Glenelg but it will have to be a good one I can use without too much work (like that will happen!!) If another 4 berth comes along in good condition I would be interested... just dont have the time to do a restoration. I could store it at work that way, if I had a project away from home it would never get done.

Still keeping an eye out for you as well.
We went down to check our van at the end of October and it looks like I have some work to do, damp in front offside seems to have got in during the year and a small hole has developed just above seat height. Can't do anything till we get it back up here and that is not happening till my eldest daughter moves into the new house, enough room for both hers and our vans and there three cars! Her hubby is going to give me a hand with it which is just as well as I am not able to do much nowadays.
On the look out for a two berth, bit more room for me and the missus!
