Good morning from France.I am not a caravan owner but I do have a B & B Leamington Spa chassis - and perhaps some caravan owner who also has a chassis by this manufacturer may be able to give me some hints. My chassis does not belong to a caravan but is the trailer for my boat. This is a 4 metre clinker marine ply runabout. I know nothing about it apart from the fact that it was left for years outside in a back garden in Brittany. For all that both boat and trailer are in pretty fair shape. The trailer was clearly built for the boat. There is no hint as to the builder of the boat - what I am really trying to discover - but the trailer is marked ' B & B Leamington Spa England on one side of the tow hitch, and 'CC910C' embossed on the other side. The letters 'WLD' are embossed on that side as well. I would guess that the boat and trailer may date from the sixties. The boat has flared sides rather reminiscent of flaired trousers or those rather sharp American cars. The trailer itself has an old AA GB sign with the winged wheel motif. I think AA changed their badge in the 1960s. Can anyone give me any hints as to how I might find out more about the date of the trailer?
